One of the major difficulty in addressing the issues and concerns of the most marginalized and vulnerable indigenous communities is the non-availability of credible information on them. Therefore, after the much needed information for undertaking effective advocacy on their issues and concerns is generated, it is crucial that the information is systematically organized and made available for public access. The information will also be used systematically targeting relevant actors, especially the stakeholders of this project.
Setting up of the CKPs will start in the second half of year 2 and will be up and running by the end of the same year. The Online CKP will be setup at the national level and will be managed by IPF. Attempt will be made to setup 1 offline CKP for each of the 10 MMVIC in the project area. The Online CKP will be bilingual (Thai and English) and act as the hub and clearinghouse for the CKPs managed at the local level. All information generated from the communities will be sent to the online CKP and the information will be packaged into communication by IPF and sent to all relevant destinations, including to the CKPs managed by the MMVIC.
